Mexican Jewelry Design & Display at NYC Jewelry Week 2026

At the end of the day, we place our most precious jewelry down — on a tray, in a drawer. That moment of return is the quiet counterpart to wearing: a ritual of care, of placement, of attention. It is where jewelry continues to speak, even in stillness — and represent us at rest, in our homes.

This year’s “Support Systems: The Art of the Jewelry Box” pairs Mexican jewelry designers and makers of display objects to examine how we live with jewelry when not worn. Each pairing explores the organic, and just what it means to showcase pieces in the home, as domestic extensions of style. Together, K’ab Juun celebrates the continual craft dialogue between material, memory, and design.

Each November, NYC Jewelry Week presents The Week, a seven-day celebration of jewelry and the people, ideas, and craftsmanship behind it. NYCJW26 brings together a global audience for a dynamic mix of in-person and virtual experiences across New York City and beyond.
