Memory Palace Opening Reception at NYC Jewelry Week 2026

Opening reception celebrating the launch of W.M. Ricci and its inaugural collection, Memory Palace. Join designer William Matteo Ricci for an evening of jewelry, conversation, and light refreshments.

W.M. Ricci invites visitors to the public launch of its inaugural fine jewelry collection, Memory Palace with founder and Creative Director William Ricci.

In this immersive salon-style show, W.M. Ricci will present a collection of jewelry that parallels the memory palace of Matteo Ricci–a fictitious mental construction that is used to commit vast pools of detailed information. Like the vivid images stored in Matteo Ricci’s phantom space, the pieces in W.M Ricci’s Memory Palace conjure another world.

During an evening reception and daytime gallery hours, Guests will be able to browse the collection and interface directly with the designer.

William Ricci is a New York–born jewelry designer and gemologist. He is the founder and head designer of W.M. Ricci, a fine jewelry brand centered on exceptional colored gemstones and jade. A graduate of RISD’s Jewelry + Metalsmithing department, William has gained experience across the colored gemstone trade, including an internship with Tiffany & Co.’s gemstone buying team and work with a seventh-generation emerald dealer in Jaipur, India.

W.M. Ricci is an emerging fine jewelry brand based in New York City specializing in colored gemstones, unique diamonds, and jade. When designing for his namesake brand, William Ricci’s seeks to create compositions of exquisite natural materials that push back on the traditional forms and color palettes of fine and high jewelry. Like the jewels she wears, the W.M. Ricci woman is singular.
