The Women’s Jewelry Association New York Metro Chapter (WJA) is part of the premier professional organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women across the jewelry and watch industries.
For over 40 years, WJA has connected women through networking, mentorship, and education, fostering a dynamic and welcoming community that champions women’s success.
From the bench to the boardroom, WJA exists so women thrive, not just participate, across every facet of the industry.
Founded in 1931, the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) is the oldest and largest diamond trade organization in the United States and a cornerstone of New York’s world-famous Diamond District. For generations, its members have built the trade on expertise, integrity, and relationships sealed with a handshake. Since 2017, the DDC has called the 11th floor of the International Gem Tower home, a state-of-the-art hub on West 47th Street where this evening’s showcase takes place.
Since 1984, Polygon has been the trusted, members-only network for jewelry and gem professionals. Its online and mobile marketplace offers access to more than $5 billion in goods, from diamonds and gemstones to fine jewelry, watches, and estate pieces, all within a secure, vetted community with no commissions or transaction fees. Polygon also hosts intimate, closed-door conclaves where industry professionals gather to network, learn, and trade, and where lasting relationships are built.
Designers After Dark brings together a curated group of independent designers and makers, each with a distinct voice and vision. Among them are WJA’s own Susan Burde of Magick Alchemy and Kris Harvey of Kris Avery, alongside many more talented artists waiting to be discovered. Meet the makers, hear the stories behind their work, and find a piece that feels entirely your own.
