Founded by Ashley Capri, an NYC based creative, Capri Swim™ was born from the balance of ambition, burnout and the need to rest. After 10 years of dually working as an NBA dancer and costume designer, Ashley found herself drawn to monthly travel and the water as a place to slow down and feel grounded again. What started as handmaking bikinis for her travels in 2019 grew into manufacturing in NYC’s Garment District in 2024, rooted in supporting local artisans and the creative community that continues to inspire the brand’s editorials, dance visuals and fashion shows.
