Becoming Emotionally Mature

17 July @ 19:30 - 21:00

For those of us who experience insecure attachment patterns – whether anxious preoccupied, dismissive avoidant or fearful avoidant – in all likelihood, at times, we’ll also struggle with emotional maturity.

And this makes sense. Typically from a young age, insecure attachment hinders our emotional regulation, sees us lean into unhealthy coping mechanisms, and gives us a distorted view of relationships.

The good news is, provided we’re capable of self-awareness and self-reflection, emotional maturity is a skill we can absolutely develop.

And emotional maturity is a core skill for building the safe, stable, mutually rewarding relationships we crave. It:

* Allows us to recognise our emotions, understand why we feel the way we do, then process them in a healthy way
* Increases our capacity to stay calm in stressful situations
* Sees us practice the pause rather than reacting immediately
* Enables us to see how our words, actions and behaviour affect others

In this new workshop, **Becoming Emotionally Mature**, we’ll explore:

* Simple ways to build self-awareness
* Emotional regulation strategies
* Balancing empathy with healthy boundaries
* Conscious communication in relationships
* Safe conflict tips for emotional safety
