SUMMARY:Birth & Bloom: Birthstones on Display at NYC Jewelry Week 2026
DESCRIPTION:Birth & Bloom celebrates new beginnings with birthstone jewelry\, blooms\, and personal stories.\n\n\nBirth & Bloom celebrates new beginnings through the beauty of birthstones and blooms. Join Lucia B. Marti as she unveils her latest collection of birthstone charms alongside a curated selection of jewelry by Fitzgerald Jewelry artists Heather King of Ides\, Jake Alfonzo\, Odette Channell\, Kestrel Dillon\, and Young Sun Song. Surrounded by lush botanicals\, guests will enjoy wine\, music\, and conversation while discovering pieces that celebrate individuality\, craftsmanship\, and personal stories. Each guest will receive seeds paired with their birthstone\, a living reminder to nurture what begins and watch it bloom. \n \n\n\nContributors\nAn exploration of new beginnings through birthstones and blooms. Join Lucia B. Martí as she unveils her latest collection of birthstone charms alongside a curated selection of jewelry by Fitzgerald Jewelry artists Ides\, Alfonzo\, Kestrel Dillon\, Young Sun Song\, and O Channell. Surrounded by lush botanicals\, guests will enjoy wine\, music\, and conversation while discovering pieces that celebrate individuality\, craftsmanship\, and personal stories. \nFounded in 2001 by Michael and Hiroyo Fitzgerald\, Fitzgerald Jewelry is a Brooklyn studio\, gallery\, and jewelry school. Known for distinctive fine jewelry and custom wedding and engagement rings\, the space showcases work by the founders and emerging local designers. Visitors can explore one-of-a-kind pieces\, create custom designs\, repurpose heirlooms\, or take private workshops with experienced New York jewelers. \nIdes’ “Ophidia / Serpentes” collection is the contemporary callback to antique snake rings that were tiny\, fragile and lost to wear over time. With their low profile settings\, custom-cut gemstones and beautifully proportionate design layered with hand-engraved old world details – millegrain\, scales and starry eyes – Ides snake jewels are perfectly styled for daily wear in modern life. \nAlfonzo is a fine jewelry studio founded by Jake Alfonzo\, focused on sculptural forms\, symbolic detail\, and evolving materials. Each piece is crafted with intention—balancing precision and irregularity\, tradition and experimentation. The collection includes one-of-a-kind and ready-to-wear pieces\, designed for both daily ritual and long-term collecting. \nKestrel Dillon’s work is deeply inspired by the natural world\, particularly the Southwestern topography she grew up in. She’s attracted to organic forms and soft color palettes\, using unique stones to make one-of-a-kind pieces. \nYoung Sun Song is a Korean American jeweler whose work blends organic forms\, with meticulous craftsmanship\, inspired by the rich cultures that shaped her upbringing. Jewelry derived from culture\, heritage and our immediate world. \nOdette Channell created O Channell Designs inspired by seed beads and a life spent moving between countries. Drawn to diverse forms of adornment\, she taught herself techniques and began collecting natural materials like pebbles and sea glass. Today\, her eclectic jewelry celebrates the imperfect beauty of nature\, allowing each material to shape the story of every piece. \nFor Lucia B. Martí\, jewelry is a reflection of identity and connection. Drawing early inspiration from genetics\, she brings together traditional craftsmanship and a contemporary perspective to create pieces that feel both personal and enduring. Each creation is made to be worn every day\, cherished over time\, and treasured forever. \n\n\nNYCJW26: November 16–22\, 2026 \nEach November\, NYC Jewelry Week presents The Week\, a seven-day celebration of jewelry and the people\, ideas\, and craftsmanship behind it. NYCJW26 brings together a global audience for a dynamic mix of in-person and virtual experiences across New York City and beyond. \nExplore the full NYCJW26 Schedule\, featuring exhibitions\, shopping experiences\, retail collaborations\, talks\, panels\, workshops\, demonstrations\, tours\, and more. SUMMARY:Mexican Jewelry Design & Display at NYC Jewelry Week 2026
DESCRIPTION:'Support Systems' explores how jewelry lives in the home through jewelry boxes\, display objects\, and design.\n\n\nAt the end of the day\, we place our most precious jewelry down — on a tray\, in a drawer. That moment of return is the quiet counterpart to wearing: a ritual of care\, of placement\, of attention. It is where jewelry continues to speak\, even in stillness — and represent us at rest\, in our homes. \nThis year’s “Support Systems: The Art of the Jewelry Box” pairs Mexican jewelry designers and makers of display objects to examine how we live with jewelry when not worn. Each pairing explores the organic\, and just what it means to showcase pieces in the home\, as domestic extensions of style. Together\, K’ab Juun celebrates the continual craft dialogue between material\, memory\, and design. \n\n\nNYCJW26: November 16–22\, 2026 \nEach November\, NYC Jewelry Week presents The Week\, a seven-day celebration of jewelry and the people\, ideas\, and craftsmanship behind it.
