DESCRIPTION:Argentina-based jeweler Ana Goris presents one-of-a-kind wearable sculptures inspired by Andean geography\, architecture\, and craftsmanship.\n\n\nMeet Argentina-based jeweler Ana Goris\, whose wearable sculptures are rooted in the geography and architectural history of the Andes. She works with materials that have already lived: reclaimed timber from century-old wineries\, bronze\, and Eco Stone\, her ultralight composite of Andean minerals\, natural pigments\, and recycled paper. Its lightness allows sculptural scale that can still be worn. Each piece is one of a kind\, made by hand in her atelier in Mendoza. Shown for the first time in New York City\, her work will be on view and for sale\, presented with In Heroes We Trust\, The Jewelry Library\, and The Alpaca Library by Yanawara\, with a reception celebrating Andean craftsmanship. \n \n\n\nAna Goris is a visual artist and jewelry designer based in Mendoza\, Argentina. From her atelier in Chacras de Coria\, she creates brutalist wearable sculpture from materials that have already lived: reclaimed timber from century-old wineries\, Andean stone\, bronze\, and Eco Stone\, an ultralight mineral composite she developed herself. Her work was selected by Ruudt Peters for exhibition and shown at the Latin American Biennial of Contemporary Jewelry. She is devoted to this alchemy. \nYanawara is a New York-born knitwear brand meaning “star that comes from afar” in Aymara. Rooted in the Andes and founded by Pamela Burgos\, the brand blends contemporary design with Bolivia’s ancestral textile traditions. Working alongside indigenous master artisans\, they are Nest-Certified and create fair-trade alpaca and llama knitwear. Their West Village boutique\, The Alpaca Library\, serves as a cozy haven celebrating sustainable heritage and slow fashion. \nIn Heroes We Trust is a collaborative shop and experiential company led by creative producer and fashion designer Neely Shearer. Now based in New York City’s West Village\, IHWT brings together designer vintage\, contemporary designers\, original art\, and cultural programming. Neely produces events\, exhibitions\, pop-ups\, brand collaborations\, and curated experiences across fashion\, hospitality\, art\, and culture. She is also the author of In Heroes We Trust: Street Artists and Their Heroes. \nFounded in 2018\, The Jewelry LIbrary hosts a wide range of exhibitions\, talks\, and events all across the jewelry-spectrum\, collaborating with both contemporary and vintage gallerists\, artists\, and collectors\, as well as storytellers\, historians\, makers\, and wearers. Visitors will trace the evolution of signature geometric glass and metalwork through the Bezel\, Orb\, Shard\, and Kinetic series. Debuting alongside this curated timeline are a series of light sculptures that mark the designer’s expansion beyond wearable ornament and into independent light entities. All are invited to shop the experience. \n\n\nBianca Abreu is a Brooklyn-based sculptor\, jeweler\, and founder of Aur Jewelry. Holding a BFA from Pratt Institute\, she transitioned from large-scale fabrication to wearable kinetic art through glassblowing and metalsmithing. Inspired by optics\, light\, and geometry\, Abreu crafts color-shifting borosilicate glass over a 2\,000-degree flame. This site-specific installation showcases a series of jewelry pieces that explore the ethics of desire\, the resonance of precious materials\, inherited violence\, and our belief in sacred objects. This ongoing body of work is being developed through public installations and conversations. Join us in a celebration and critique of the sacred power of jewelry. The work will be on view Thursday\, Friday\, and Saturday\, featuring a reception on Thursday evening and a conversation between Cole Kamerick\, Jennifer Altmann\, and Michael Stone-Richards on Saturday afternoon. \n\n\nCole Kamerick is a Jeweler\, Craftsperson\, and Artist\, based out of Richmond\, Virginia. They use metal and a variety of media to create work that explores material agency\, body politics\, and jewelry as a means of transmutation. Cole has worked in the jewelry industry as a bench jeweler and earned their BFA in Craft and Material Studies from College for Creative Studies (Detroit\, MI) in 2023 and their MFA in Craft/Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond\, VA) in 2026. \nJennifer Altmann is a journalist who writes about contemporary jewelry. Her work has appeared in The New York Times and many other outlets. In 2025\, Art Jewelry Forum named her one of four women “with their ring finger on the pulse of the art jewelry scene.” Her forthcoming book\, Rejeweled: Ordinary Objects Become Extraordinary Adornments\, will be published on Earth Day in 2029 by Arnoldsche Art Publishers. Jake hand crafts each piece in his NYC studio using his signature 22k yellow gold alloy\, natural gemstones\, uncultured pearls\, and antique diamonds.
