🌿 SUMMER TEA FEST 2025 — A Day of Global Tea Culture & Creative Encounters

On July 12, the creative space C*SPACE in Berlin-Weißensee will once again transform into a vibrant Pop-Up Teahouse — a place where tea lovers, connoisseurs, and creatives from all walks of life come together to share, learn, and celebrate the diverse world of tea.

For one full day (10:00–20:00), this historic former furniture factory and its open courtyard will become a lively cultural hub filled with:

Whether you’re a seasoned tea nerd or simply someone who enjoys the beauty of slowing down with a warm cup in good company, SUMMER TEA FEST offers a welcoming space for connection, discovery, and joyful exchange.

This year’s program will span two floors and include indoor and outdoor tea spaces, a curated art and workshop area, and an inspiring lineup of hosts from Berlin’s international tea scene and beyond.

🍵 What Makes This Special?

SUMMER TEA FEST 2025 is part of the Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin project, which was born during the pandemic as a grassroots cultural space to reconnect in disconnected times. Many of our hosts and tea traders are passionate entrepreneurs, artists, and educators — often sourcing their teas directly from farmers they know personally. This community-driven approach gives the event its unique warmth, authenticity, and richness.

Expect a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere filled with tea knowledge, shared stories, and unexpected creative moments.

Casual tea tables hosted by our community — explore different teas, make new connections, and enjoy informal conversations.

🌱 TEA WORKSHOPS & SEMINARS (3rd Floor Calligraphic Room, 10–20h)
Hands-on tea experiences and deep dives into tea culture, history, and craft.

🌱 ART & CRAFT WORKSHOPS (3rd Floor Library/Workspace/Courtyard, 14–20h)
From creative tea-dyeing to intuitive tea painting — get inspired by the intersection of tea and art.

🌱 TEA CULTURE SALON (1st Floor Loft, Evening)
A curated evening gathering to close the day with tea, reflection, and exchange.

However, we warmly recommend getting one if you’d like to fully immerse yourself in the open teahouse experience throughout the day — connect with tea lovers at the Social Hangout Areas, join casual tastings and conversations, and explore more creative offerings across the space.

About:

C*SPACE Berlin gGmbH is a purpose-driven creative space for co-working, workshops & events, dedicated to ideas and encounters across borders. Tea culture is a central element not only of the organisational culture at C*SPACE but also do teahouse events with various focuses – from tea as such to topical salon discussions or art and culture – regularly pop-up at this place throughout the year. In the summer of 2021, we launched the ‘Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin-project’ with initial support from the Berlin Senate in the framework of its activities to foster Berlin’s open cosmopolitan spirit, and it has been an ongoing program since then. In 2022, we were honoured to act as location partner for a smaller version of the BTF- Berlin Tea Festival. The Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin is a not-for-profit community & cultural project. The 2025 series is based on community-based economy and donations.
